| Description |
Reporting to the
Chief Technical Officer, this dynamic global
equipment supplier is seeking a Senior Systems
Architect. You will be educated to degree level
in engineering, preferably at an advanced level
and posses at least ten years experience in
product development and the specification of
product architectures, preferably in the data
networking or telecommunications sectors.
Extensive knowledge of leading software
development methodologies and exposure to data
networking or telecommunications hardware
developments. You will possess in-depth technical
knowledge of Internet/IP and CTI technologies and
have hands-on experience deploying WAN/LAN
customer solutions. CCNP and MSCE certifications
are a strong advantage. Knowledge of commonly
used desktop applications (e.g. web
collaboration) and GUI development would be a
plus. You will have strong interpersonal and
influencing skills. Good organsiational skills
with the ability to work well within a team. as
well as having a creative approach to problem
solving. You must be highly analytical with
strategic vision and experience with the writing
of white papers, architectural specifications and
solution/system proposals.
The main purpose of the role is to define
product architectures and system level solutions
which satisfy the company's strategic and
commercial objectives.
Leverage emerging technolgies and associated
trends to improve the competitive advantage of
the company in the marketplace. Ensure that
suitable technology strategies are established to
maintain and support existing products. Support
business development and pre-sales initiatives
with technical consultation

| Description |
There is more than one
position available at this level. Both are to
work on products using real time communications
design. For one of these positions an
appreciation of CTI would be an advantage. The
company does have a general interest in anybody
with VoIP experience. You will be responsible
for developing software within a team in project
based development, maintenenace and support of
application software for designed systems

Required
Qualifications/Experience
- Development
of sofware using C++, in a Windows
environment
- Understanding
of object oriented techniques, C++ and
relational databases
- Use
of structured software development
techniques
- Innovative
flair in sofware design
- Good
coommunication both oral and written
- An
understanding of data and voice
communications, experience of working in
multi-disciplined teams
- Experience
using SQL server would be an advantage
- The
successful applicants are likely to be
degree qualified and to have at least 2
years experience in a similar environment

company are seeking to recruit A Systems Engineer
whose primary function will be to build complete
solutions, or parts there of, up to and including
the commissioning and testing of said solution
prior to their delivery to customers. To provide
ongoing support to the engineers in the field at
third line level. The role may also require
some travel to customer sites and other locations

You will possess a good understanding of PC
Technologies, both hardware and software,
including SQL, have a good understanding of Data
and Voice Networking and Technologies and
Telecoms or electronics qualification, degree,
BTEC, NVQ or relevant employment experience.
